Sense and Sensibility by Jon Jory, based on the novel by Jane Austen

The Heritage Players will be holding auditions for Sense and Sensibility March 4 and March 5 from 2:00-4:00 at the Seton Center, 1900 Pioneer Rd. 15226. Performances will be held at the Seton Center in Brookline.

Elinor Dashwood - mid-to-late 20s. A fiesty young woman struggling to reconcile her mind's desire with those of her heart.
Marianne Dashwood - early 20s. ELinor's younger sister; wuick to fall in love.
Mrs. Dashwood - 40s-50s. Sentimentla.
Fanny Dashwood - Late 20s to early 40s. Married to John Dashwood. Rules with an iron fist; manipulative.
Mrs. Jennings - 40s-50s. Enjoys life to the fullest extent. Comfortable in any setting. A romantic matchmaker.
Lucy Steele - mid-to-late 20s. A little vain and bratty. Engaged to Edward.
Miss Grey - 30s. Slow to warm up
Colonel Brandon - late 20s-40s. There's something melencholy about him. A gentleman; romantic but somber.
Willoughby - 30s; charming and debonair but not always reliable.
John Dashwood - early 30s-mid 40s. Heir to the Dashwood estate. Shallow; easily influenced by Fanny.
Sir John Middleton - 50s. The flair of Falstaff but generous and exceedingly kind at heart.
Edward Ferrars - 50s. A unique young man, kind and romantic.
Robert Ferrars - 30s Edward's brother. Materialistic and pompous without the brains to back up his vanity.
The Doctor and the Gardner - 40s-60s. Colorful characters that drive the plot.
Lady Middleton - 40s. Sir John's wife.
Mrs. Ferrars - 50s. Overbearing mother to Edward and Robert.
